Speaker agreement

The following agreement regulates the mutual rights and obligations between Lorbach Communication GmbH and the speaker and serves to avoid misunderstandings:

1. Lecturing activities

The speaker will give a presentation for Lorbach Communication GmbH during the event meetingpoint.energy. The standard time of the lecture, unless otherwise agreed, is 20 minutes with a subsequent Q&A opportunity of 10 minutes. The impulse lecture in a workshop should not exceed 10 minutes.
b. In order to prepare the final conference programme, Lorbach Communication will receive a short description of the speaker’s presentation at the latest 1 week before the start of the event.
c. The speaker will provide Lorbach Communication with a digital version of the presentation for publication to the participants of the event after completion of the activity.
d. The speaker will have the opportunity to briefly present the company or organisation to which he/she belongs on a chart and in words, in order to give the auditorium the opportunity for attribution and assessment.
A disproportionate advertising block is not desired in the interest of the audience.
e. The speaker is prepared to help promote the meetingpoint.energy events.

2. Copyrights

The speaker declares that his/her presentation does not infringe the rights (e.g. copyrights) of third parties and consents to the recording of images, sound and text during the conference. Lorbach Communication GmbH may provide these recordings and the presentation slides with a reference to the copyright holder and use them accordingly in the media (e.g. for downloading from the conference website).

3. Remuneration and reimbursement of expenses

You are welcome to participate as a speaker in the 5-day congress. The event is free of charge. This covers all costs, charges or fees of the speakers.

4. Cancellation

Lorbach Communication GmbH expressly reserves the right to cancel the lecture. In the event of the speaker being unable to attend due to illness or force majeure, we request that you notify us as soon as possible. Paragraph 3 remains in force in any case.

5. Data protection

Your address data will be used exclusively by the organiser Lorbach Communication GmbH and will not be published or passed on to third parties. The names and companies of the speakers will be published in the print and online media of the event together with the title of the lecture.
